The table in American roulette is very similar to European roulette, but has a distinct twist of its own. The big difference lies in the fact that an American roulette wheel has two green fields with the numbers zero (0) also called double-zero (00). This means that the wheel of American Roulette has 38 sections, that is, two more than you find in European roulette. This may seem like a small difference, but the fact is that it increases the house's advantage to 5.26%. The sum total is because you are less likely to win in American roulette than in the European variant, which of course means that European roulette is preferable to you as a player. Just like in European Roulette, the American variant offers several different ways to bet. 'Inside bets' and 'Outside bets' are some of the most common ways to bet.
French roulette
The French version of the game contains some interesting variations from the usual format of the game. A first superficial difference is that the table is red instead of green.
